Terms and Conditions

THIS LIST OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE THE NON NEGOTIABLE RULES AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THE VENDORS OF THE MEAD VALLEY OUTDOOR MARKETPLACE.  ANY VIOLATIONS CAN RESULT IN THE REMOVAL OF THE PRIVILEGE TO ACCESS THE MEAD VALLEY OUTDOOR MARKETPLACE OR ANY OTHER FUTURE LOCATIONS UNDER THE SAME OWNERSHIP.  ENFORCEMENT IS THE SOLE DECISION OF THE OPERATOR/OWNER OF CMXRS LLC.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION UNDERSTANDING THE BOOK NOW PAY LATER POLICY:  Through our booking software Skedda link here  https://mvom.skedda.com/settings/user-access you are permitted to book now and pay later.  The way this works is that you can block a space for up to 30 days for your business use.  This blocks others from being able to book your favorite space location identified on the map by a number.  When you select “Repeat” on a “Weekly” basis on any booking it will block that space for that day and you will not be responsible for payment at the time of booking.  We understand how important it is for you to be in your favorite space on a consistent basis.  You will have to input card payment information on the secure website to book the space but you will not be billed immediately.  Billing will occur on the Monday of each week prior to your booking.

Your booking page should look like this for each day:

Example:  If you book a Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the Monday at 12:00pm noon before that weeks booking you will be billed $100 for each day (or a total of $300).

If there is a issue with billing you will be notified via email.  You will need to notify us how you wish to correct the issue before Tuesday at 12:00 pm noon or the space will be available for anyone to book it for that week.  If no payment is made the series of bookings associated to your profile will be cancelled until a new form of payment can be established.

If a booking is made on the same week but after Monday it will be billed on the following day before noon.

  1. No selling of any weapons including but not limited to knives (utility, tools or otherwise) Firearms, fireworks, slingshots, etc.
  2. There is absolutely no selling or consumption of alcohol of any kind without the expressed written consent from MVOM Operator and required license from ABC. This will be a strict policy that we will enforce with one warning resulting in a one month suspension then a zero tolerance policy will take place and will result in the individual and all associated businesses banned from MVOM permanently. This puts all at risk and will not be allowed or tolerated.
  3. There is no disposal of water, oil or any food cooking products on site. Do not open your water storage drains while on property.  They leave a trail and smell that can be followed back to the facility. Anyone disposing of oil or other cooking products and fluids will be required to pay a third party hired by MVOM for all removal including contamination below the gravel. If vendor does not fully pay for this cleaning their access to the MVOM may be restricted.
  4. Generators should be hidden and in good running condition. They should not leak any oil, fuel or fluids at any time. There are several generators on the market that operate at a peaceful level as to not disturb the customers and surrounding vendors. Please make every effort to acquire a generator that operates at an acceptable noise level. Generators should not exceed a decibel rating of more than 90db at three feet distance when measured by staff.  You can download a decibel meter for most smart phones for free if you wish to test your equipment.
  5. Please observe all business hours.  We do not allow vendors to pull in after two hours after we open to the public and do not to exit the facility until closing hours. We allow for one full hour after closing the gates for customers for vendors to tear down their setup and exit the facility. Some have been taking beyond the allowed time to exit causing for additional costs to MVOM that will get factored into the cost of access when we start billing. Delayed exit from the facility increases operating costs and we are still narrowing down the future costs to sell at MVOM. We want to keep it as competitive as possible. Currently all vendors should be outside the facility at the posted times; Thursday 11pm, Friday 1am, Saturday 1am, Sunday at 1am. Your help is greatly appreciated.
  6. We are still students of our trash volume and each week we increase our capacity and each week we exceed it. Your help with this is extremely appreciated. One thing we have noticed while cleaning the lot after operations is there are a lot of single use wrappers and items in the gravel from customers. If you would consider removing straw wrappers or buying straws with no paper wrapper and if you remove all bottle caps as you serve the customers these are the most common items we find every day. Your help making sure these go into the trash is greatly appreciated and it helps keep MVOM beautiful and clean. Please make sure that only customers are dumping trash into the steal bins and you as a vendor are taking any trash you have directly to the dumpsters located by the restrooms. This lightens the load on staff and again will help us keep future costs down.  If the trash dumpsters are full vendors will not be allowed to dump items, most often on Sunday.
  7. Please make sure all music being played at MVOM is family friendly and does not contain any vulgar language or content.
  8. Vendors and workers are not allowed to consume any alcohol or drugs while working on site at the MVOM.
  9. No pets are allowed on site.
  10. If a vendor reserves a space and does not show after one hour from originally scheduled time the space can be given to the next vendor.  There will be no refunds.
  11. Refund Policy:  There will be no refunds for bookings made.  Under extreme circumstances MVOM may issue a rain check in place of a reservation that can be used at a later date.  To request this email info@mvoutdoormarketplace.com
  12. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:  Vendors must comply with all local, state, and federal laws, including health and safety codes, business licensing, and food service regulations. Permits and Licenses All vendors must maintain current permits and licenses necessary for their operation and provide proof of such documentation upon request. Food Safety and Hygiene Vendors are required to follow strict food safety and hygiene practices to ensure the health and well-being of customers. This includes proper food handling, temperature control, and cleanliness of the food truck and serving areas.
  13. Maintenance and Appearance: Food trucks must be well-maintained, clean, and presentable at all times. Any signage should be professional and in good condition. Vendors are responsible for the cleanliness of their designated areas, including the disposal of trash and waste.
  14. Conduct Towards Customers Vendors should provide courteous, respectful, and professional service to all customers.
  15. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. Interaction with Other Vendors should be in a spirit of camaraderie and cooperation is expected amongst vendors. Any disputes should be handled in a professional manner and reported to  management if necessary.
  16. Vendors are encouraged to use sustainable practices, such as minimizing waste, using eco-friendly packaging, and recycling.
  17. Any accidents, safety incidents, or emergencies must be immediately reported to management and appropriate authorities.
  18. All vendors must be in their space no later than two hours after open in order to prevent the dangers of vehicles pulling in when the facility is busy.  Be mindful of traffic flow in the parking lot. Avoid blocking entrances, pathways, exits, or other vehicles, and ensure emergency access is always clear.
  19. Stay updated on any changes in local county of Riverside regulations or MVOM policies that may affect your operations.
  20. If a vendor is repeatedly late to exit the facility causing staff to stay after hours in order to lock up there will be a fine imposed that if not paid could result in removal from access to MVOM.
  21. All vendor vehicles must not exceed 5mph while on site.  Vendors must park in required area by the MVOM Staff.  Vendors are allowed one car per business for staff not including a towing vehicle.  Additional vehicles may be subject to fees or parking in general parking areas. Burnouts or excessive speed will result in damaged gravel and a cost to re grade.  Vendors who are repeat offenders may be asked not to return.  Business owners are responsible for all their guests and employees on site at all times.  Penalties will always be applied to the business of the vendor.
  22. All cooking must occur in a trailer or truck in a closed facility.  No outside cooking.

Conditions and rules are at the sole discretion of the Operator of the Mead Valley Outdoor Marketplace and subject to change without notice or posting.  We look forward to working together in order to provide sustainability and safety while making a living.
